Teach a bot to phish - best practices for automating your phishing and breach rapid response

Phishing emails are unfortunately a pernicious problem because they are easy to execute and can be a gateway to harmful attacks like ransomware. It’s also a time sink to deal with these attacks. Join this session to learn how to automate your phishing incident response by leveraging Mimecast and Cortex XSOAR allowing you to drastically reduce (by as much as 80%) the time spent on triaging phishing alerts. In the event that a breach is suspected, we will cover ways to leverage automation for rapid breach response, using the latest SolarWinds breach as an example.

Speakers

Jane Goh, Sr Product Marketing Mgr, Palo Alto Networks

Breakout Session 3

Attendees can choose one of the following:

Reducing Risk By Reducing Complexity

Mimecast and Netskope will present a framework to reduce the day to day operational burden of a typical security operator by exploring practical best practices and options for reducing risk to the enterprise and therefore incident counts to work. We will explore how Netskope and Mimecast can work together - from a policy and integration perspective - to incrementally lower the chance of misuse and abuse of cloud resources, intentionally or not. By targeting high reward, low investment strategies that leverage automation and context, attendees will immediately depart with information on how to reduce the number of security incidents. This session will balance strategic guidance and tactical technology pointers with a mix of presentations and demonstrations.

Speakers

Nathan Narayanan, Sr Director, Product Management, Netskope
David Willis, Technology & Alliances Director, Netskope
Mark Toshack, Principal Product Manager, Mimecast

Next Generation SOC with Integrated Analytics, Automation and Orchestration

Every Security Operations Center (SOC) experiences challenges daily. Things like alert fatigue, false positives, overwhelming numbers of cases, a mountain of events to analyze, and limited time and resources to handle the workload. In this session, we will explore the vision of a Next Generation SOC and how it can be realized by leveraging a unified collaborative platform that combines large scale data analytics, security frameworks, and security automation and orchestration. We will show how this approach will lower mean-time-to-detection from minutes to seconds and yield a more efficient response to threats against your enterprise.
